Online Counselling

You don’t have to be nearby to access support. With secure video sessions, you can connect with me from the comfort of your own home, whether you’re in Edinburgh, elsewhere in Scotland, or anywhere in the UK. Online counselling works just like in-person sessions — we’ll meet at a set time and you’ll have a safe, confidential space to explore what’s going on for you.

In-Person Counselling (Roslin, Midlothian)

I offer face-to-face sessions in the private, comfortable garden room at Noble Beauty, Roslin (EH25). There’s free parking available and good bus links from Edinburgh and surrounding areas. This setting gives you a peaceful, supportive space to talk openly and work through challenges.

Anxiety Counselling

If you often feel tense, on edge, or overwhelmed by worry, you’re not alone. Anxiety can affect sleep, work, and relationships. In our sessions, we’ll use CBT tools to notice unhelpful thinking patterns, calm racing thoughts, and build practical strategies to reduce anxiety and regain control.

Stress & Burnout Support

Juggling work, family, and life’s pressures can sometimes lead to exhaustion and burnout. You may feel constantly drained, irritable, or unable to switch off. Counselling gives you a chance to pause, reflect, and learn healthier ways to manage stress. Together, we’ll look at boundaries, balance, and restoring your energy.

Trauma & PTSD Therapy

Difficult past experiences can leave lasting effects, from flashbacks and nightmares to a constant sense of fear or unease. Using CBT and trauma-informed approaches, I’ll support you in processing these experiences safely and gently, so they no longer have the same power over your life.

Depression & Low Mood

When motivation and joy feel out of reach, even simple tasks can seem impossible. Counselling can help you explore what’s keeping you stuck, develop coping strategies, and rediscover a sense of purpose and hope.

Addiction & Recovery Support

Addiction can feel isolating and hard to talk about, but change is possible. Whether it’s substances, alcohol, or behaviours, I offer a non-judgmental space to explore the roots of addiction and find healthier ways to cope.

Grief & Loss Counselling

Grief can take many forms — sadness, anger, guilt, or even numbness. There’s no “right” way to grieve. Counselling can help you process your loss at your own pace, while finding ways to carry your memories and begin to move forward.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Sessions must be paid for in advance to secure your appointment. Payment must be made by bank transfer at least 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid being charged the full session fee.

Counselling Sessions

£65 per session or 6 sessions for £360 (paid upfront in full)

Each session lasts 50 minutes and typically occurs weekly. However, we can discuss and adjust the frequency to suit your individual needs.
